This item was such a disappointment that after several attempts to find a good use for it I have decided I will have to abandon it to a desk drawer. I was unable to get even mediocre quality in my car, and I thought that perhaps I could still use it at home with a radio in lieu of using my mp3 cable. I was wrong. I could not get a good signal with it even when putting my iPod in close proximity to a desktop radio.
Even if you could get it for just a few bucks, like I did, please be careful before you buy. Other products out there are expensive, but hopefully they will work better! At first, I thought that perhaps my unit was defective, but everywhere that I’ve been, people were complaining about this product.
